The code applies to the driver's seat belt buckle. It is set when the control module configuration does not match the equipment in the car. The control module software then does not suit the vehicle's equipment.

- 1Read out the fault code and clear it. If it comes back, the fault is still present.
- 2Have a workshop check whether the driver's seat belt buckle should be connected to the control module in this particular car.
- 3Have a workshop check that the vehicle's equipment and the control module configuration match.
- 4If the configuration cannot be corrected, the control module may need replacing; have a workshop decide.
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the checks.
