Hva betyr feilkoden?
The fault is sub-fault A of the driver's seat belt pretensioner, meaning the voltage in the circuit to the pretensioner. The control module stores it when the voltage is too low. The cause is a wire shorted to ground, or contact problems and short circuits in the connections.
Mulige årsaker
- The wire is short-circuited to ground.
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections.
- Short circuit in the connections.
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read out the fault code and clear it. If it comes back, the fault is still present.
- 2Have a workshop look at the joints between the control module and the driver's seat belt pretensioner for looseness, oxidation and contact resistance.
- 3Have a workshop check the wire to the pretensioner for a short circuit to ground in the vehicle body.
- 4If the fault is still present once the wiring has been checked, have a workshop replace the driver's seat belt pretensioner.
- 5Do not work on seat belt pretensioners or the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the checks.
