Hva betyr feilkoden?
The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) measures the voltage in the circuit to the passenger's lap seat belt pretensioner. The code is stored when the voltage is too low and the incorrect value has persisted for a while. The cause may be a wire shorted to ground or contact resistance in the connections.
Mulige årsaker
- Wire short-circuited to ground
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
- Short circuit in the connections
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the code, clear it, and see whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop check the connectors at the module and at the pretensioner for looseness, oxidation and contact resistance
- 3Have a workshop check the wire to ground and repair what is found
- 4Have a workshop replace the pretensioner if it is faulty
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop check it
Symptomer du kan merke2
- A red warning symbol and a text message are shown
