The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) measures the resistance in the circuit to the adaptive force limiter on the front passenger seat. The code is stored when the resistance is too high and the incorrect value has persisted for a while. The cause may be an open circuit in the wire, contact resistance in the connections or an open circuit in the force limiter.

- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
- Open circuit in the adaptive force limiter on the front passenger (resistance too high in the igniter section)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the code, clear it, and see whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop check that the connectors are secure and free from play, oxidation and contact resistance
- 3Have a workshop check the wire for an open circuit and repair what is found
- 4Have a workshop replace the front passenger's force limiter if needed
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop check it
