The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) monitors the circuit to the adaptive force limiter on the front passenger seat. The code is stored when that circuit is short-circuited to another circuit with an activatable restraint system and the fault has been present for a while.

- 1If you have a diagnostic tool: read whether other restraint-system fault codes are stored, since they may point to another activatable restraint system
- 2Have a workshop check the connectors at the SRS module and at the force limiter, and the connections that join the wiring
- 3Have a workshop check the wire to the other restraint circuits and repair what is found
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop check it
