The airbag control module (SRS) has found an internal fault in passenger seat occupant classification sensor "A" in the passenger seat. The fault is in the sensor itself, so the system cannot rely on its readings. It can be caused by the sensor being installed incorrectly or being damaged.

- 1Read and note the code, clear it and see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop check that the passenger occupant weight sensor is installed correctly and that its wiring is routed correctly
- 3Have a workshop replace the passenger occupant weight sensor if it is damaged, and calibrate it after the replacement
- 4Do not work on the airbag system in the seat yourself; have a workshop carry out the check and the replacement
