The airbag control module (SRS) monitors the voltage circuit of the PAD lamp. The fault is stored when the voltage is too high or missing altogether, which can be caused by a wire that has come into contact with voltage, an open circuit in the wire, or poor contact in the connections.

- Short circuit in the connections
- Open circuit in the wire
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop check the connectors in the wiring between the roof light control unit and the airbag control module for play, oxidation and contact resistance
- 3Have a workshop check the wire for an open circuit and for a short to voltage, including other connectors that link it
- 4Have a workshop correct the fault and confirm the code does not come back
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the check and the repair
