The airbag control module (SRS) measures the voltage to the passenger-side belt reel sensor. The fault is stored when the voltage is too high, which can be caused by a wire that has come into contact with voltage or by a short circuit in the connections.

- 1Read and note the code, clear it and see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop check the connectors in the wiring to the passenger-side belt reel sensor, including other connectors that link it
- 3Have a workshop check the wire for a short to voltage
- 4Have a workshop correct the fault and confirm the code does not come back
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the check and the repair
