Hva betyr feilkoden?
The airbag control module compares its own configuration ID with the one that the central electronic module (CEM) broadcasts on CAN. A mismatch, or an interrupted link to the CEM, sets the code. A module not meant for this particular car can cause this.
Mulige årsaker
- Incorrect configuration ID; the module was not built for this car, for example a used module with different software or hardware
- Open-circuit in the CAN wiring between the airbag module and the central electronic module (CEM)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Erase the code with a diagnostic tool and see whether it returns; if codes for lost communication are present in the central electronic module (CEM), start there
- 2Have a workshop check the CAN wiring between the airbag module and the central electronic module (CEM) for open-circuits and contact problems
- 3Have a workshop confirm that the module is intended for this particular car; if it is not, the correct software must be loaded, after agreement with you
- 4After a repair, erase the code and see whether it returns
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all checks and work on the module and the wiring
