Hva betyr feilkoden?
The airbag control module is the main module on the local sensor CAN network. Faulty messages travel between the airbag module and either the collision speed module (CVM) or the brake control module (BCM). The fault may be caused by a short-circuit to battery or ground.

- The fault cause may lie in the control module that sends the incorrect messages
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read out all fault codes in the car and start with those relating to communication
- 2Have a workshop check the sensor CAN wiring for short-circuits to battery and to ground
- 3Have a workshop check the CAN communication between the airbag module and the collision speed control module (CVM); if no fault is found, fault-trace the CVM
- 4Have a workshop look for the cause in the control module that sends the incorrect messages, for example the brake control module (BCM) or the CVM
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all wiring and control module checks

- It stays off until the power supply is broken; when power is reconnected it tries to communicate again
