Hva betyr feilkoden?
The airbag module is supplied through two separately fused power inputs and checks its own system voltage. The code is set when the voltage stays too low for a longer period. Causes may be low battery voltage, a faulty alternator, poor contact or a short to ground in the supply wire.
Mulige årsaker
- A short-circuit to ground in the supply cable
- Contact resistance or oxidation at the connections
- Low battery voltage
- Damaged alternator
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Have a workshop check the battery's condition and that its terminals are tight and clean
- 2If only SRS-U300616 or SRS-U300617 is set, have a workshop start with the supply cable between the airbag module and the CEM
- 3Have a workshop check the alternator's charging function and the voltage supply and ground connection to the airbag module
- 4After the work, switch the ignition off, switch it on again and see whether the code is gone
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all wiring and control module checks
Symptomer du kan merke1
- The SRS warning light comes on or behaves abnormally
