Although the code is named short to ground, it applies to the difference in DC voltage between the outputs to the voice coils in the left and right bass speaker. The difference is too large, which may be caused by a damaged subwoofer control module. The bass speakers can then stop producing sound.

- 1Check that the fuses for the audio system are intact
- 2Read out and clear the code, then test-drive with the audio system on to see whether it returns
- 3If the code returns after clearing, the subwoofer control module is probably damaged. Have a workshop replace it
- 4After the repair, check that both bass speakers play sound again
