The subwoofer control module compares its own supply voltage with the reference in the CEM (central electronic module), and the supply is too high. The cause may be a supply wire with contact to positive voltage, and the bass speaker can then stop producing sound.

- Short to voltage in the power supply wire

- 1Check that the fuses for the audio system are intact
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the power supply wire to the bass speaker control module has no contact with positive voltage
- 3Check the connector to the bass speaker control module for loose or oxidised connections
- 4Clear the code and test-drive to see whether it returns
