The data link from the suspension control module (SUM) to the brake control module (BCM) has a fault. The brake control module controls parts of the brake system, and Four-C is switched off while the fault remains.

- 1Read and clear the fault codes, then road test the car to see whether the fault returns
- 2Do not work on the brake system or its control modules yourself; have a workshop check the brake control module (BCM) and the communication
- 3If it returns: have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the CAN network and both control modules
