Hva betyr feilkoden?
The SUM reads a voltage from the three Four-C switches to decide which drive program has been selected. The fault code is set when the voltage from the switches is too low, which can mean a short circuit to ground.
Mulige årsaker
- The wire from the switches has a short circuit to ground
- Damaged Four-C switch
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the relevant fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual
- 3Check that the connectors at the three switches are firm and free from corrosion
- 4Inspect the wire from the switches for chafing and pinch damage
- 5Use a multimeter to check that the wire from the switches has no contact with ground, with the switches disconnected
- 6If the fault returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the switches and the wire
