Hva betyr feilkoden?
The control module has not received the signal from the input speed sensor on the gearbox. The fault is intermittent, so it may have occurred on an earlier occasion without being active now. The signal affects gear-shift timing, lock-up control and the torque reduction during gear changes.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance in the connections
- Open circuit in the power supply
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Defective speed sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1The fault is intermittent, so inspect the connectors at the control module and the sensor for contact resistance and oxidation, and flex the harness at them while watching for a change
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: read the gearbox speed in live data with the engine idling and check that the value updates
- 3Clear the fault code and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the wiring between the control module and the sensor for an open circuit, and replace the sensor if needed
