Hva betyr feilkoden?
The control module reads the lock-up pressure switch (PS4), which shows where the lock-up valve sits. The fault indicates the lock-up solenoid is jammed closed, based on that signal, so the lock-up function cannot be engaged.
Mulige årsaker
- The lock-up pressure switch is stuck
- Contact resistance in the connections
- Mechanical fault in the transmission control system
- The transmission oil level is too high
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read off the fault codes and deal with any other transmission fault codes first
- 2Check the transmission oil level; a level that is too high can cause the fault, so if the level is wrong a workshop should correct it
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wires to the pressure switch have no open circuit
- 4Have a workshop check the connectors to the control module and the transmission for contact resistance and oxidation, and replace the oil filter if needed
- 5If the fault remains, the control module or the pressure switch module may need replacing; a workshop does this
