Gear 5 is blocked. Gear 5 is one of the odd gears, engaged by shift forks 1 and 2. The transmission control module (TCM) can block gears when it detects a fault that could damage the transmission if driving or shifting continues. The code is event controlled and usually means a temporary disruption rather than a permanent fault.
