Hva betyr feilkoden?
One of the transmission's three power stages, power stage 3, is shorted to supply voltage. The power stage controls the solenoids CSMS2, CSPS2 and SHSS1 in the transmission. The cause is a damaged power stage or a damaged control module.

Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault codes. TCM-0542 usually appears together with TCM-02A0, so trace TCM-02A0 first. If it is not present, continue with this one
- 2Clear the fault codes and drive the car to see whether TCM-0542 comes back
- 3Have a workshop check the solenoids and their wiring with diagnostic equipment
- 4If the fault remains after TCM-02A0 has been fixed and it lies in the control module, a workshop must replace the module
