The system pressure solenoid LPS, which regulates the transmission's system pressure, is shorted to ground. The solenoid sits in the transmission's mechatronic unit. The fault may be caused by an open circuit in the control circuit of one of the solenoids, a damaged or dirty connector or circuit board, a damaged solenoid, or a damaged transmission control module.

Hva du kan gjøre

1Read the fault codes, clear TCM-0555 and drive the car to see whether it comes back
2Have a workshop open the transmission control system and check the solenoid and its contacts for corrosion, poor contact, dirt or metal build-up. Check the oil level as well
3If the fault is found and fixed, the mechatronic unit can be refitted. If it cannot be found or fixed, a workshop must replace the mechatronic unit
