The transmission control module receives the requested torque limitation signal from the engine control module (ECM) over the CAN network. The signal is missing or invalid. The transmission uses it to decide shift points and to adjust system pressure. The fault lies in the engine control module, and tracing is carried out from there.

Hva du kan gjøre

1Read the fault codes in the CEM and the engine control module, and fix them first. Do not clear TCM-C007486 until they are fixed
2Have a workshop trace the CAN network and the engine control module with diagnostic equipment
3Clear TCM-C007486 once the root fault is fixed and drive the car to see whether it returns
