Hva betyr feilkoden?
The control module receives no signal from the output shaft speed sensor, which measures the speed of the driveshaft after the transmission. Without this signal it cannot calculate the transmission's gear ratio, and lock-up and gear changes are affected.
Mulige årsaker
- Higher resistance at a connection
- Output shaft speed sensor not working
- A fault inside the TCM itself
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1With a diagnostic tool, check that output shaft speed shows in live data as the car rolls; if nothing shows, the fault lies in the sensor or wiring
- 2Read and clear the code, then road test to see whether it returns
- 3Have a workshop check that the sensor connector is not loose and the wiring is intact, since the sensor sits inside the transmission
- 4If the sensor and wiring are fault-free, have a workshop check the control module

- Emissions warning lamp (MIL) and the general warning lamp come on
- Lock-up does not work
- Gear changes are harsh
- Gear changes do not happen
- Yellow warning symbol and text message in the display

- The transmission uses the brake control module's speed signal instead, and if that is also missing it is controlled by an auxiliary program
