Hva betyr feilkoden?
The fault is intermittent, meaning it came and went: the signal from the output shaft speed sensor was missing at some point, but it may not be present right now. Without the signal the control module cannot calculate the transmission's gear ratio, which can cause harsh or missing gear changes.
Mulige årsaker
- Higher resistance at a connection
- Output shaft speed sensor not seated correctly
- Output shaft speed sensor not working
- A fault inside the TCM itself
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and clear the code, then road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: follow the output shaft speed in live data during a test drive and check that the value does not drop out
- 3If the fault returns often, have a workshop check the sensor connector and wiring, since the sensor sits inside the transmission
- 4If the fault remains although the connector and wiring are sound, have a workshop replace the sensor or check the control module
