Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) sends the engine speed over the CAN network to the transmission control module, which uses it to control lock-up. Here the signal is missing or judged to be wrong. The code being stored points to a fault in the engine control module, and the other fault code must be dealt with first.
Mulige årsaker
- Fault in the central electronic control module (CEM)
- Fault in the engine control module (ECM)
- A temporary break or short in the CAN wiring linking the ECM and the TCM
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1First read the codes stored in the engine control module and the central electronic control module (CEM); this code is most likely a follow-on fault
- 2Deal with the other codes following their own instructions
- 3If there are no other codes, have a workshop check the CAN network and its connectors, since a temporary break can cause this code
- 4Clear this code only after the root fault has been fixed, then road test to see whether it returns
