The pressure sensor for the clutch that serves the even gears sends too high a signal. The transmission control module (TCM) monitors the clutch pressure levels, and the code is set when the signal exceeds what is expected. The sensor may be short-circuited to voltage or be damaged.

Hva du kan gjøre

1If you have a diagnostic tool: read the pressure sensor signal in live data and see whether it is high compared with the one for the odd gears.
2Look at the connectors to the pressure sensor and check that they are secure and not corroded.
3Use a multimeter to check that the wire from the pressure sensor has no contact with plus (battery voltage).
4If the wire is in order, have a workshop check the pressure sensor and, if needed, replace the mechatronic unit.
5After a mechatronic unit is replaced, the workshop needs to program it, as it is supplied without software.
