Hva betyr feilkoden?
The signal from the gear selector control module (GSM) is missing in the communication with the transmission control module (TCM) over the LIN network. The code is set when the TCM receives no signal at all from the GSM. The selector indicator and manual shifting can then be affected.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance and oxidation in connections
- A break in the supply wire or the ground wire to the selector control module (GSM)
- Internal fault in the gear selector control module (GSM)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1If you have a diagnostic tool: read the selector position in live data while you press the brake and select manual mode.
- 2Check that the connectors to the selector and the transmission control module are secure and not corroded.
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire and the ground wire to the selector have no break.
- 4If a TCM-P088513 code is also stored in the transmission control module, fix that first, as it may be the root fault.
- 5If no fault is found in the wires and connectors, have a workshop replace the gear selector control module (GSM).

- Yellow warning symbol and message in the display
- The general warning lamp is lit
- The gear indicator in the gauges does not work
- Manual gear changes are not possible
