Hva betyr feilkoden?
The shift lock is meant to stop the selector from being moved out of P by accident. The code concerns the direct wire from the TCM to the shift lock, and it is set when that wire is shorted or has an open circuit.
Mulige årsaker
- Connector or wire is damaged
- Damaged gear selector control module (GSM)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1With the car stationary: try to move the selector out of P without pressing the brake. It should not move.
- 2Then press the brake pedal and try again. The selector should now move.
- 3Check the connectors at the transmission for contact resistance and oxidation.
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the wire to the shift lock is not shorted to ground (the body) and has no break.
- 5If the wire is in order, have a workshop replace the gear selector control module (GSM) and check the transmission control system.
