Hva betyr feilkoden?
The transmission control module (TCM) receives the vehicle's drive mode signal from the engine control module (ECM) via the CAN bus. The fault code is set when the signal from the engine control module is missing or indicated as faulty. The fault is general and does not say more precisely what type of fault it is.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation at the terminals and joints
- Open circuit in one of the CAN wires
- Short-circuit between the CAN wires
- Fault in the engine control module (ECM)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the fault codes in the engine control module (ECM) as well, as this code may be caused by a fault there
- 2Have a workshop check the connectors and CAN wiring for oxidation, loose connections, open circuits and short-circuits between the wires
- 3If no fault is found in the wiring, have a workshop locate the cause in the engine control module (ECM)
