Hva betyr feilkoden?
The fault code concerns the input speed sensor of the gearbox, which sits inside the transmission control system. The control module has detected that the circuit to the sensor is missing. The signal is used to calculate shift timing and to achieve smooth gear changes. The fault is general and does not say more precisely what type of fault it is.
Mulige årsaker
- Open circuit in the power supply or signal lead
- The signal cable is short-circuited to ground
- The input speed sensor is not working
- Internal fault inside the control module (TCM) of the gearbox
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and drive the car to see if it returns
- 2With a diagnostic tool: read the input speed at idle and raise the engine speed. The value should follow the engine speed
- 3Have a workshop check the connector and the wiring to the input speed sensor, and the sensor itself if the wiring is in order
