The transmission control module (TCM) has detected that the current in the circuit to linear pressure solenoid SL5 is higher than allowed. SL5 regulates the system pressure in the transmission, so the fault affects the gear changes. The cause may be a wire shorted to supply voltage, a damaged solenoid or an internal fault in the control module.

Hva du kan gjøre

2Check that the battery is in good condition and that the fuses are intact
3Check that the connectors at the transmission are fully engaged
4If the fault returns, have a workshop check SL5, the wiring and the control module, and replace the mechatronic unit if needed
