Vad betyder felkoden?
Koden anger att strömstyrkan till EGR-ventilens motor är felaktig. Motorstyrenheten (ECM) övervakar signalen från sitt interna effektsteg till EGR-motorn och testar den när motorn går. Felet kan bero på ett avbrott i signalledningen, kontaktproblem, en skadad lägesgivare eller en skadad EGR-ventil.

- Kontaktresistans eller oxidation i kontakterna
- Avbrott i signalledningen
- Skadad lägesgivare
- Skadad EGR-ventil
Vad du kan göra
- 1Stäng av tändningen och kontrollera att inloppssystemet inte läcker och saknar skador
- 2Kontrollera att EGR-ventilen och anslutningarna inte är blockerade eller igensotade, och rengör ventilen från smuts och sot
- 3Kontrollera kontakterna till EGR-ventilen för löshet och oxidation, och mät med en multimeter att ledningarna inte är kortslutna mot jord, mot spänning eller mot varandra
- 4Har du ett diagnosverktyg: aktivera EGR-ventilen och kontrollera att den inte kärvar. Ett klickande ljud ska höras, och lägesgivarens värde ska ändras. Förblir värdet stilla efter rengöring är ventilen troligen skadad
- 5Efter byte eller reparation behöver EGR-ventilen adapteras, något en verkstad gör. Radera felkoden och provkör
