Vad betyder felkoden?
Koden gäller ett internt systemfel där en för hög temperatur har registrerats i styrningen kopplad till EGR-ventilen. Motorstyrenheten (ECM) övervakar signalen från sitt interna effektsteg till EGR-motorn och testar den när motorn går. Felet kan bero på kontaktproblem, en kärvande eller skadad EGR-ventil eller en skadad lägesgivare.

- Kontaktresistans eller oxidation i kontakterna
- Kärvande EGR-ventil
- Skadad lägesgivare
- Skadad EGR-ventil
Vad du kan göra
- 1Med tändningen avslagen, kontrollera inloppssystemet för läckage och skador
- 2Kontrollera att EGR-ventilen och anslutningarna inte är igensotade eller blockerade, och rengör ventilen från sot
- 3Mät med en multimeter att ingen ledning till EGR-ventilen är kortsluten mot jord, spänning eller en annan ledning
- 4Har du ett diagnosverktyg: aktivera EGR-ventilen och se om den rör sig utan att kärva, samt om lägesgivarens värde ändras
- 5Kontrollera att kontakterna sitter fast och inte är oxiderade
- 6Efter byte av EGR-ventilen adapteras den av en verkstad. Radera felkoden och provkör
