Motorstyrenheten (ECM) jämför signalerna från gaspedalens lägesgivare med varandra, och koden sätts när en skillnad mellan dem inte stämmer. Felet är generellt och anger ingen närmare feltyp.
Möjliga orsaker
- Skadad motorstyrenhet (ECM)
- Glappkontakt, kontaktresistans eller oxidation i anslutningarna
- Avbrott i signalledningen, spänningsmatningen eller jordledningen till gaspedalen
- Signalledningen kortsluten till jord
- Låg batterispänning
- Skadad gaspedallägesgivare
Vad du kan göra
- 1Läs av felkoden och notera om den är aktiv just nu
- 2Har du ett diagnosverktyg: följ gaspedalens värden i livedata när pedalen trycks ner och släpps upp. De ska ändras jämnt
- 3Kontrollera batteriets laddning och att batteripoler och jordanslutningar sitter fast och är rena
- 4Kontrollera att kontakterna vid gaspedalen och motorstyrenheten sitter fast och är fria från korrosion
- 5Återkommer felet: låt en verkstad kontrollera gaspedalgivaren och byta den om den är skadad

- Miljölampan tänds
- Motorns maxvarvtal är lägre än vanligt
