Hva betyr feilkoden?
This variant applies to the C30, C30 Electric, C70, S40 and V50. The CEM monitors the accelerator pedal sensor signal. If the signal is too high or missing, the code is set. The engine may feel sluggish and the accelerator pedal may not respond.
Mulige årsaker
- The signal cable is shorted to supply voltage
- An open circuit in the signal cable
- A damaged accelerator pedal sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1With a diagnostic tool, follow the accelerator pedal sensor signal in live data while you slowly press and release the pedal. The value should change evenly
- 2Check that the connector at the accelerator pedal sensor is seated and not corroded or chafed
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire from the sensor has no short to supply voltage or break
- 4If the wire is intact and the fault remains, replace the accelerator pedal sensor with an identical one
- 5After the work, clear the code and road-test the car
