Hva betyr feilkoden?
The blower fan motor sends diagnostic information to the CEM. If the motor reports that the fan wheel is blocked, the code is set. The cabin blower then cannot start, and no cooling comes from the air conditioning.
Mulige årsaker
- A blocked blower fan motor
- The ground wire to the blower fan motor is shorted to supply voltage
- The diagnostic signal wire is shorted to supply voltage
- Contact resistance
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fan wheel in the climate system has free space and nothing blocks it. With the car off, feel by hand that the wheel turns freely
- 2With the ignition on, check whether the blower fan starts. If it does not, the fault is probably permanent
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wires between the CEM and the fan have no break or short to supply voltage
- 4If the wheel turns freely but the fault remains, have a workshop check the fan motor
- 5After the work, clear the code and check that the blower fan works
