Hva betyr feilkoden?
The CEM detects a short to earth on CAN L in the high speed network, and the signal becomes too low. This can cause radio interference, and communication between the control modules can be disturbed. The fault most often lies in the cable or a connector in the network.

- Short to earth on the CAN L wire in the high speed network, for example a wire worn against the body
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1With the ignition on, listen for radio interference while gently flexing the cable. If the interference changes, you have found where the fault is
- 2Read the fault codes from every control module and see which ones show communication faults. A fault on the high speed network often shows in more than one module
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the CAN L wire has no contact with earth or the body along its length
- 4Check the connectors in the high speed network for loose connections, corrosion and moisture
- 5Check that the harness is not worn against the body, especially at grommets and sharp edges
- 6The CEM should not be replaced for this code unless a workshop has confirmed an internal fault in the CEM
