Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?

The control module has received too weak a signal from the defroster damper motor. The damper controls airflow to the windscreen, so when the signal is missing the defroster airflow can be wrong.

Open circuit in the signal wire linking the control module to the damper motor
Contact resistance, oxidation or play in the connectors
Defective damper motor

1Start the engine, switch on the blower and activate the defroster button. Check that the airflow changes
2Check the connectors at the defroster and recirculation damper motors for loose contacts and corrosion
3Check the wiring between the damper motors for chafing and crushed areas
4Remedy anything found and clear the fault code
5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the signal wire and replace the damper motor if needed
6If you have a diagnostic tool, follow the damper position in live data while turning the control and check that it changes smoothly
