Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?

The control module has received too strong the signal from the air distribution damper. The fault code can be set together with other damper codes, which may point to a fault in the shared network that drives the dampers. While the fault is present the damper motor cannot be activated.

1Read off the stored fault codes. If CCM-0016 appears with other damper codes, the network may be at fault
2Check the connectors and the wiring to the damper motors for chafing, crushed areas and corrosion
3Clear the fault codes and test drive to see whether they return
4With the ignition off, use a multimeter to check the signal wire for ground contact (the body). If found, have a workshop repair it
5If the fault remains, have a workshop decide whether the damper motor is damaged and replace it if needed
6If you have a diagnostic tool, follow the damper position in live data while turning the control and check that it changes smoothly
