Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The climate control module (CCM) checks that the buttons on the switches in the centre console, front and rear, have identities that are permitted for the vehicle according to the configuration file. If it finds an identity that is not on the list, the fault code is set. This can be caused by a switch that has been replaced with one with the wrong identity, or by an incorrect configuration file.

Was Sie tun können
- 1With the engine running, test that all functions on the centre console can be activated. Where a button has an LED, it should light when its function is active
- 2Read off and clear the fault code, then road test the car to see whether the code returns
- 3Check the connectors to the centre console buttons for looseness and oxidation
- 4With diagnostic equipment, compare each switch identity with the marking for its place in the climate panel. A mismatch suggests a switch was swapped for one with the wrong identity
- 5With diagnostic equipment, check that the status of each switch is OK. If any status is not OK, that function is missing from the vehicle configuration
- 6Have a workshop check the configuration and download any missing software where needed, as a missing function is added by programming
