Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?

The CEM registers a driver seat belt buckle reading outside the permitted limits for a set time. The fault is permanent. The usual cause is an unstable signal, an open circuit, or contact resistance in the wiring or connectors. The SRS warning lamp is lit.

1Safety: the seat belt system is part of the crash protection. Do not work on the seat belt buckle wiring yourself; have a workshop check it
2Look for loose, corroded or chafed connectors at the buckle, without removing anything. If you find one, have a workshop fix it
3With a diagnostic tool, read the fault code after switching the ignition off and on, and see whether it returns
4After the work, clear the code and check that the SRS warning lamp goes out
