Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The CEM checks the signal from the rear centre seat belt buckle. If the voltage in the signal wire is too high, the code is set. The information lamp may light and a message may appear in the display.
Mögliche Ursachen
- A short to supply voltage in the signal wire between the buckle and the CEM
- A short to supply voltage in the connector
- A short inside the seat belt buckle
- Cross-connected signal wires between the buckle and the CEM
Was Sie tun können
- 1Safety: the seat belt system is part of the crash protection. Do not work on the wiring or the buckle yourself. Have a workshop check the wires
- 2Look for chafed or pinched cables at the centre rear seat belt, without removing anything
- 3Latch and unlatch the belt several times and see whether the information lamp changes
- 4After the work, clear the code and check that the information lamp goes out
