Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The left-hand gas discharge lamp module (GDL) has registered that its supply voltage is too low, and the central electronic module (CEM) receives that message. The fault can also be caused by a broken signal wire between the CEM and the module. The left low beam does not work while the fault is present.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Supply voltage to the left-hand GDL module is too low
- Open circuit in the signal wire running to the left-hand GDL module
Was Sie tun können
- 1With the ignition off, check that the connectors at the left-hand module are clean, firmly fitted and undamaged
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire between the CEM and the left-hand module is not broken and has no contact with ground
- 3Check that the left-hand module has a good earth connection, meaning the earth connection is tight and clean
- 4With the engine running and the low beam on, use a multimeter to check that the supply voltage is not below normal. The supply is shared with the right-hand module
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the supply and the signal wire
