Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
On vehicles with dimmed daytime running lights, each light is fed from the CEM through two outputs, one for full brightness and one for dimmed light. The fault shows that the voltage on the wire to the dimmed daytime running light is too low, which points to a short to ground. The fault is checked when the parking lights are on.

- The supply wire to the dimmed daytime running light is shorted to ground

- 1Read off and note the code, clear it and check whether it returns when the parking lights are on
- 2Check that the fuse for the daytime running lights is intact
- 3Check that the connectors to the daytime running lights are fully engaged and not corroded
- 4Use a multimeter (ignition off, connector unplugged) to check that the wire to the dimmed daytime running light has no connection to ground (car body)
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, activate the daytime running lights with the tool and check whether they come on at dimmed brightness
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the wiring to the daytime running lights
