Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The child lock in the passenger side rear door sends no message to the CEM, so the control module gets no information from the function. The child lock then does not work, and a yellow warning symbol with a text message may appear in the display.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Damaged switch that shows the lock motor position
- The lock motor is stuck
Was Sie tun können
- 1If you have a diagnostic tool: read the fault codes in the driver and passenger door modules (DDM and PDM)
- 2Turn the child lock on with the driver door switch and check that the passenger side rear door then cannot be opened from inside
- 3Check that the fuse for the right rear door module is intact. Use a multimeter to check the wire is not shorted to ground before replacing a fuse
- 4Look for chafing and pinch damage in the wiring to the rear door and check that the connectors are secure
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the bus and the control modules
