Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The CEM powers the emergency brake light directly from an output. The code is stored when the signal from the output is too high. The cause may be poor contact, a break in the supply cable, or contact with supply voltage. The tail light or brake light then does not work.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Poor contact, oxidation or looseness in the connections
- Break in the supply cable
- The supply cable has contact with supply voltage
Was Sie tun können
- 1Check that the brake lights work by having someone watch them while you press the brake. Brake lights matter for road safety, so fix the fault promptly
- 2Check that the relevant fuses are intact. Their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 3Check that the connections are secure and not oxidised
- 4Use a multimeter to check whether the supply cable has voltage when the brake is not pressed
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the wiring and the control module output
Symptome, die Sie bemerken können1
- Tail light or brake light does not work
Was der Fehler beeinflussen kann2
- The function switches off permanently after 100 driving cycles in which the fault was detected
- Clearing the fault codes resets the output
