Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The heater control module cannot communicate on the MS-CAN network, because the communication is disturbed by another control module on the network or by a fault on the network. The control module then disconnects itself from the network (bus-off) and stays disabled until its power is cut. The fault may be caused by a short or open circuit in the CAN wiring, or by an internal fault in another control module.

- Short circuit in the CAN wiring
- Open circuit in one of the CAN wires
- Internal fault in another control module on the same part of the CAN network
- Damaged heater control module
Was Sie tun können
- 1With the ignition off, check that the connectors and wiring to the auxiliary heater are intact, with no chafing or corrosion.
- 2If other control modules also show communication faults, the fault may be elsewhere in the network. Have a workshop decide.
- 3Have a workshop measure the CAN network with diagnostic equipment. The measurement requires parts of the network to be disconnected.
- 4Do not replace any control module until the fault tracing is complete, as the fault may lie in another control module on the network.
- 5Have a workshop replace the auxiliary heater control module if it is damaged and the fault remains.
