Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The signal wire between the position sensor in the front roof section and the roof control module is short-circuited to ground. The roof can then be operated only in a limited way or not at all. The fault may also be caused by a break in the signal wire, a damaged sensor, or a sensor that is incorrectly fitted.
Mögliche Ursachen
- The cable is short-circuited to ground
- Break in the signal wire to the position sensor in the front or rear part
- Position sensor not working
- Position sensor incorrectly fitted
Was Sie tun können
- 1With the ignition off, look for damage to the signal wire between the position sensor and the roof control module, such as chafing or damaged insulation.
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire is intact and has no contact with ground (the body). If it has contact or a break, the wire must be repaired.
- 3Check the connector at the position sensor and at the control module for contact resistance, oxidation and looseness. Clean or tighten it.
- 4If the wire is in good condition, have a workshop replace the position sensor, as it may be damaged or incorrectly fitted.
