Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The driver door module checks the signal from the position sensor, a potentiometer, which registers the sideways position of the mirror. The fault is stored when the signal is too high, which is caused by the signal wire having contact with supply voltage or being broken.
Mögliche Ursachen
- The signal wire is short-circuited to supply voltage
- Open circuit in the signal wire

- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Move the mirror sideways and check that it travels smoothly all the way
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool, check in live data that the sideways position changes evenly when you move the mirror right and left
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire has no contact with supply voltage and is not broken
- 5Inspect the cable to the mirror for chafing and pinching
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the control module and the mirror
