Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The outside temperature sensor sends an incorrect signal to the instrument panel, so the outside temperature is not shown correctly or not at all. The fault is intermittent, meaning it has occurred before but does not always show. The causes may be poor contact, an open circuit in the signal wire, a short to ground or voltage, or a faulty sensor.

- Faulty outside temperature sensor

- 1Read off the fault code, note it and clear it. Test drive the vehicle to see if the fault returns
- 2Check that the fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 3Check the sensor and instrument connectors for oxidation and loose fit
- 4Use a multimeter to confirm the signal wire to the sensor has no contact with ground (body) or voltage
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, read the sensor value in live data. If the value is missing or unrealistic, the sensor or the wire is at fault
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the sensor once the wire has been checked
