Was bedeutet der Fehlercode?
The engine control module (ECM) monitors the signal from the A/C relay. The fault is set when the signal is faulty, which can be caused by a break, a short to ground or voltage, or a damaged engine control module.
Mögliche Ursachen
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Signal wire shorted to ground
- Signal wire shorted to voltage
- Damaged engine control module (ECM), which is unusual
Was Sie tun können
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and test drive to see whether it returns
- 2Check the relevant connectors to the A/C relay for play, contact resistance and oxidation
- 3Check the signal wire to the A/C relay for breaks and shorts to ground
- 4Check that the signal wire is not shorted to voltage
- 5If the wiring is fault-free: have a workshop check the A/C relay and the engine control module
